Wapusk Adventures

Experience in October and November an exhilarating Ididamile, a one-mile-long trail ride through the trails in Churchill’s forest. Here, you’ll be provided with custom-built sledges pulled by huskies. You will be introduced to the dogs beforehand in the dog camp where you will be taught dog sledging and arctic racing. On May and September, go on a 2 and ½ hour birdwatching tour as you ride an 18-foot jet boat “River Dog” while travelling up the Churchill River. See if you can find the rare Ross’s Gull along with observing golden eagles, osprey, tundra swans, and little gulls in their natural habitat.
